Module 1: Foundations of Cybersecurity Leadership
This module covers the core aspects of cybersecurity leadership, including understanding the role of cybersecurity leaders, strategic planning, governance, budgeting, and risk management. Participants will gain the tools to develop strategic cybersecurity initiatives and allocate resources effectively to achieve organizational goals. Through case studies such as the Stuxnet Attack, participants will explore leadership challenges in managing cybersecurity programs.
Module 2: Program Managing Cybersecurity Programs and Risks
This module focuses on implementing and managing cybersecurity programs, including governance, compliance, security operations, policy development, and incident response planning. Participants will learn techniques for assessing and mitigating risks, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering a cybersecurity-aware culture. Practical applications include case studies such as Operation Aurora and Colonial Pipeline Attack, which provide insights into managing cybersecurity incidents and ensuring resilience.
